As part of their ongoing outreach and support services to the community, The Moot Center, part of the Buffalo Federation of Neighborhood Centers, with help from BNMC, opened their Moot Gardens. The gardens are raised box planters to enable the seniors to plant fruits, vegetable, and some flowers, for their use and enjoyment. " I'll use this instead of my small window box at home", said one gardener. Daisy and Olivia from BFNC are overjoyed at their constituents getting dirty on the Spring, Summer and Fall mornings.
